About Me
Why acting?
I have pretty much always known that I wanted to act. As a kid, whenever I would get asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, I always said "An actress." This would confuse many people because I was one of the quietest kids that anyone had ever met; no one could believe that a girl as quiet as me dreamt of performing in front of people. I still consider myself an introvert, but I have come out of my shell quite a bit since my childhood. I began my formal acting training about 5 years ago, and since then, I have starred in various commercials, films, print work, and a voiceover project. I love using my knowledge and creativity to bring characters to life.
What kind of actor am I?
A few of my favorite TV shows are The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Modern Family. One of my biggest goals is to play a quirky character as a series regular on a similar show. I can play anywhere between the ages of 17-30. I am the sweet and innocent girl next door, the hardworking young mom, the inquisitive & bright-eyed young professional, the edgy college student, and anywhere in between. I have worked as a principal actor in various films and commercials including Bryant & Stratton College and Armstrong Cable. I had some new headshots taken in May of 2023 and I am constantly training and auditioning.
What kind of person am I?
I'd like to think that I am the kind of person that I'd like to work with if I were you. I'm personable, focused, passionate, easy to get along with, and a little goofy. I love people and can find the good in pretty much anyone. I have a B.A. in Communication from Kent State University which helped me land my survival job where I work as a Business Technology Analyst. It's very different from acting but I am a creative problem-solver in both-- each keeps my brain working in a different way, which I enjoy. I have two cats and a dog that I love dearly, and I also love my human friends and family. I don't take life too seriously, but I can be serious when it matters.
